I want to know…
Have you ever heard of Jesus? Do you know who God is? Have you read the Bible? If the answer to one of those questions is no, you want to develop a basic understanding of God, or you are not yet a Christian, I encourage you to keep reading. You can explore why you’re not a Christian, or discover more about God.
To start, my sincerest thanks go to you for being brave and following the link.
Sometimes it is scary to explore religion, faith or anything having to do with those things. But don’t let me turn you off with those words because Jesus Christ is the one we are talking about right now and He is not a religion, He is a person. God to be exact. Jesus is God’s Son, who was born on the earth to live a perfect life, free of sin (evil things we do against God like lies, theft, lust), yet full of pain, hardship and suffering. He then died on a cross (an awful way one can die, to be hung on a Roman death tree). He had to die to take our deserved punishment on himself, so we don’t have to be separated from God. Through belief in Jesus, we can know God personally and have a relationship with him. Jesus also rose from the grave, proving he was who he said he was, and fulfilling even more prophecies about himself as the Messiah.
None of that may have made sense, but that is why this page is here, to help you understand, learn more about and maybe even follow Jesus.
First things first, if you want to learn more about God, you need to read the Bible. If you don’t have a Bible, I encourage you to get one. There are Bibles in your nearest Walmart, Publix, or online for free if you just type it into Google.
Here are a few places where you can get a Bible for a very low cost, or free.
The reason I suggest reading the Bible is because it is powerful, life-changing and the source of the Christian faith and walk.

Before you do anything else, I would like you to pray. All praying is, is talking to God. If it feels weird, or you don’t know what to pray, God is there and he loves you, so just talk as if you were talking to a friend. To find out more about prayer, the way we communicate with God click here.
The next thing you need to know to get you introduced to the Bible and the Christian walk is the gospel. The gospel is the starting point for any Christian or person wanting to know God. Gospel means “good news” and it is the best news of your life! Click here to learn about the good news of Jesus.
