Prayer for Sanctification.
Father,
I know that I am desperately longing for you deep down in my soul. I know that I am horribly broken and sinful. I am sorry, LORD. Please forgive me for my sin. Forgive me for running from you instead of running to you. Help me to instead live for you. I love you and desire to serve you. I ask that you deepen that desire in me and help me to serve you even when I don’t want to or feel like it. Please continue to make me more like your Son, who died, laid down his life for his friends. For me. Help me to walk in your perfect, pure and holy light. Let my sin always be exposed no matter the pain or embarrassment it may cause me. Help me to know and take courage in the fact that being close to You is better than being able to sin in the dark. Make known my sins, bring my flaws to the light and let me be made new in You daily. Let my thoughts, actions, desires and affections be made more similar to yours. I love You and ask for sanctification. For cleansing, Father. Let Your Holy Spirit work and live in me. Create in me a clean heart, o God. I pray all of these things in Your name, Amen.
